Nostell Long Row Then And Now

  2. I grew up on the row , so sad to see it all gone . I believe there were land disturbances from the pit across the road and they were unsafe , I don’t know if they could build on it again sadly , my father was the winder at the pit yard , many memories

    3. Me and my brother grew up on tje Row and my dad and his grandad worked down the pit. Was a fantastic place to grow up.

  3. I also grew up on the row from 1964 up to 1977,I went to Wragby school, I had some great times fishing at nostell top (pit)lake from before light to dropping dark, my dad, brother and me worked down nostell pit.
